[Chapter V] New PvP Zone „Arkanium Arena“


Arkanium Arena – Map

(Text updated since RoMCast#7 was released at the same day and brought some new information)

Please keep in mind that the skill values might change until the actual release of the arena, the values you see are the state as they are now. (Dec 19 2012)

This is probably the new battleground arena announced in RoMCast#7 and therefore to be released soon together with the next big update to Runes of Magic, Patch 5.0.6.

As announced in the RoMCast it features matches in the well-known style of other MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) games like League of Legends or DotA.

It will be 6vs6 matches and you'll be starting at level 1 without any equipment or gold. Fights against neutral monsters are also included as well as control points to be taken and hold. 

Skills and equipment will be received through fighting and the matches will take either as long as 20 minutes or until one side gets 2000 points first.

Duelist

We currently can't link the skills to the specific combinations, some seem pretty obvious judging from the description but we don't know how the Duelist will be working when it comes out, so that's about the information we were able to find -for now- .

Chop

Deals Deadly Damage to enemy targets within a chosen circular area with a diameter of 25 after 2 seconds. Casting the skill will apply a Slow effect on the caster for 10 seconds.

Heal

Restores 150 HP to a friendly target. This skill can be cast while moving. (This skill stat will increase and decrease based on equipment and target strength)

Cleansing Heal

Removes harmful effects and the Helpless state from the friendly target. It will restore 4% HP every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. (This skill stat will increase and decrease based on equipment and target strength)

Light of Hope

Restores 100 HP to yourself and the friendly targets in a range of 100. This skill can be cast while moving. (This skill stat will increase and decrease based on equipment and target strength)

Healing Halo

Creates a healing halo that restores 50 HP to yourself and the friendly targets in a range of 50 every 2 seconds, consuming 30 energy. Deactivating the halo will make the effect end and enter the cooldown state. Effect stops if there is insufficient energy. (This skill stat will increase and decrease based on equipment and target strength)

Last Strength

Can be used only when HP falls below 20%. Heals all friendly targets within a range of 200 with 10 HP for 20 seconds. You will die after the skill ends.

Intensification

Increases Physical Attack Power by 5% and increases your body size for 30 seconds. Can be stacked up to 20 times.
Requires: 5 Energy, Cooldown: 20
 

Cleanse

Frees you from harmful effects and the Helpless state.

Hide

Makes you hide in the darkness and become invisible to your enemies, reducing your movement speed by 50%.

Eagle Eyes

Detects hidden enemy targets around you, and increases Physical Attack Accuracy by 20% for 60 seconds. (The detection range varies depending on the target's level.)

Self-banish

Banishes yourself. Unable to move but also immune to any damage for 5 seconds. This skill can be cast while moving.

Defense Focus

Increases Physical Defense by 50% and decreases Physical Attack Power by 50%. Can't be active alongside other focus effects.

Attack Focus

Increases Physical Attack Power by 50% and decreases Physical Defense by 50%. Can't be active alongside other focus effects.

Bloodthirsty Mastery

Learn the skill first and then it will increase Physical Attack Speed by 20% for 5 seconds. While the effect is active, Movement Speed is increased by 20%.

Revival

Within 10 seconds after suffering an otherwise fatal attack, your HP will be boosted to 100% and death will be delayed for 15 seconds.

Instant Move

You will be able to instantly move to a party member and create a shield which can absorb 3 rounds of damage and lasts for 0 (Note: Maybe 5, if not yet implemented correctly) seconds.

Mystic Weakness

Induces a Weakened effect in the enemy target, reducing Physical Damage and Physical Defense by 10%. This effect is active throughout the Arcanium Arena stage and can only be removed at the revival point. It can be stacked up to 10 times. The skill can be cast while moving.

Reset

Removes all positive effects from the target. This skill can be cast while moving.
Range: 50, Requires: 50 Energy, Cooldown: 60, Spelltime: 1
 

Divine Punishment

Summons lightning to stun the enemy target for 2 seconds. If the target is under the Armor-Piercing effect from Discharge, the duration of the Stun effect will be increased by 1 second.

Silence

Prohibits spell-casting by enemy targets and causes a Silenced state for 2 seconds. The skill can be cast while moving.

Sets an area of defense within a range of 50. Every second, it deals damage on the enemy targets in the area and slows them. The range will disappear after 10 seconds. This skill can be cast while moving.

Severe Break
